The hosts were beaten 1-0 by the Albanians back in September, which was a huge blow to their chances of qualifying for Euro 2020.

It was 1998 that Scotland last appeared in a major tournament, whilst Israel were last seen on the international big-stage at the 1970 World Cup.

What time is kick-off?

This one is all set for Thursday, October 11.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm in Haifa.

Scotland last travelled to Israel for a friendly in 1986, which they won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Paul McStay.

How can I listen to talkSPORT?

What is the team news?

John McGinn has been declared fit after an ankle problem and is likely to start in Haifa.

McLeish may opt for the same starting XI that beat Albania, with Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths still struggling with injury.

QPR forward Tomer Hemed is a big doubt for Israel, who have lost 8 of their last 10 games.
